Something spook-tastic from {Ippity}

Hello there! It's Shemaine bringin' you a little something spook-tastic from {Ippity!} Can you believe that it's only two months til Halloween? Yea I know, you're all still getting over the shock that school already started in most states.

Trust me, before you know it... you'll be shopping for costumes and buying candy corn.

So with that said I'm sharing some fun Halloween inspired {Ippity} today!

I love That's Creepy from {ippity}. It has so many fun images to create with. Here's what I made with this spooky little set

Boo Little BuG!

Supplies: Stamps:IPK-134 That's Creepy; Patterned paper, cardstock stickers,punch out banner and 3D roll up flowers My Little Shoebox Trick or Treat collection; American Craft Thickers;We R Memory Keepers Secondary twine.

and here's a quick card I made with my MLS scraps and a single image from That's Creepy in under 10 minutes.

Recipe: cover cardstock with pattern paper. Cut out tag from and layer with 3D foam dots. Stamp Trick or Treat image on cardstock and emboss. Layer the trick or treat stamped image over a Lacey circle die cut from Spellbinders and affix to card. Finish off with ribbon (recently purchased from Michaels) and add the buttons an bling to the center. Easy peasy right?

Love this set? Find and {ippity} chick in your area here and get your stamp on!

Don't forget! We've got an {ippity} Release coming September 5th!

Growing in Unity Wednesday

Welcome to Wednesday! It's time to share this week's Growing in Unity gal! This week we have the wonderful Rachel Bogner up!

Meet Rachel:

Here is a little something about Rachel:

"Hi, Rachel B here for this weeks Growing in Unity.
I started paper crafting when I was probably in the fifth grade and I would make my own stationary and envelopes to send to my Italian pen pal. I am a SAHM of two little boys (4 yrs and almost 10 months) which got me into scrapbooking to keep track of the important things after my oldest was born, and I got into card making short after.

I have taken a short break from crafting for the last few months, but am hoping that my week of Growing in Unity will bring back my mojo so I can give some lovin' to my fabulous Unity stamps!
So come visit my blog, leave a comment or two, and put yourself in the drawing for a fabulous Unity prize...

OH, and this is my birthday week, so I am hoping to put together a small pack of goodies for another lucky commenter!"

Check out this fabulous Unity card Rachel is showcasing:

So let's wish Rachel a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY and leave her some love! All comments will be tossed into a hat for a random drawing!!

That's all for this week!

I'm in LOVE with itty bitty....

Of course I LOVE the {itty bitty's} too but have you ever really looked at just how CUTE the packaging is!!
I was saving all of mine to make an index of all the {itty bitty's} I have.
I was going to hook them all together with a jump ring so I could keep track of which ones I already had...I'm super crazy about organization like that.
Oh by the way...this is Maria ;) the organization idea was floating around in my head I decided they would make a much cuter mini I made one!
 sentiment from {July KOTM}
 butterflies from {Direction of Happy} itty bitty

 sentiment from kit {One of a Kind}

 sentiment from kit {Blossom Soup}

 sentiments from {Absolutely Priceless} itty bitty
airplane from {Go See Do} itty bitty
 stars from {Twinkle Twinkle} itty bitty
sentiment and butterflies from {Direction of Happy} itty bitty

I have MORE packaging and I will DEFINATELY be making more of these.  This one was just a hodge podge of extra pictures of my kiddo's when they were littler.
You could also make:
-a sentiment album (because Unity has a TON of stamps perfect for this)
-a school album (perfect for wallet size school photos)
-holiday book
-vacation album
-the possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!

So save your packaging or better yet...order some of the NEW itty bitty' won't be disappointed :)

Happy Monday

Good morning Unity peepers, it’s Happy Monday..
My day at the Unity blog!!!

For today I made a LO with the stamping set Generations and the big scroll from Donna Downey. Take a frame and stamp the scroll with Versa Mark, emboss with white embossing powder. Color the frame with distress ink Broken china, Tumbled glass and Vintage photo.
Glue the frame, with the photo in it, on brown paper.
Take stamping paper and stamp the image on it with Versa Mark, emboss with white embossing powder. Take the three colors ink and put them on your crafting sheet. Spray water on it and put the stamping paper in it. Try to do it with the dripping method ( hold your stamping paper just above the ink en tick with your nail so that the paper just touches the ink). Glue this paper also on brown paper.

Take the big cream paper and stamp the image on one site emboss with clear embossing powder. Color the paper  with the same distress colors and use more Vintage photo.

When ready spray a little bit lemon juice in your hand and drip it on the lay out. Dry it very well with the heating tool and the edges of the drips color brown. The letters are from a Heidi Swapp  alphabet and color with the ranger stream color. Adhere everything on the LO.
The small frame is for my granddaughter, she’s a real bookworm!! The frame is from the art part series of Wendy Vechi. Paint the basic black, after drying paint a layer of crackle paint, let dry and paint again with white paint. Do the same with the edge of the frame in the opposite site. Stamps are from Nikki Sivils “we are family and My bookworm. Color them with aqua markers. And adhere everything together.
Hope you enjoy it, have a great day and until next Happy Monday!!
