never a DULL moment!

hello Unity friends!!!

it's eryn here with you today & i am EXCITED to share with you one of my newest unity creations using the

i decided to create a gratitude box/picture a day project!

i need something that is SUPER EASY & takes very little amount of time each day in order for me to stick with it
{yes, i just admitted that! HA!}

so i grabbed my UNITY STAMPS & this cute little box & got to work!
{i just spray painted the box white, and used a paint marker to write the message on the top - message on top was inspired by this & this}

here's a look at the ENTIRE SEPTEMBER KIT....
{THOSE round monthly stamps will be coming in handy
for this project ~ along with the dated calendar!}

 i stamped out a bunch of date stamps...
so i could EASILY & QUICKLY add one or the either to my photo of the day.

 i stamped this beautiful camera image {created by unity artist angie blom!}
12 times on pretty card stock -
ONE for EACH month of the year!!!!
how PERFECT is this image ...
and the little flash that sticks up serves as a little "tab"
to add the month!! LOOOOVE!!!! :))))
 then i got a bunch of small recipe cards.
each day, i did {& will continue to} just add a picture or two of my day...
a few scraps of paper & some stamped details
{date stamp worked PERFECT!}
and then on the BACK of the recipe card i can journal about the day
and also list things that i am grateful for!
{i should have taken a photo of that, sorry!}

i am going to keep it all super simple & EASY....

it's going to be so FUN to look back at the past year in pictures...
and a bit about each day!
each month i'll use the NEWEST SMAK kit which will keep me INSPIRED to create something a little different & NEW!  YAY!!!!

are YOU a SMAK kit MEMBER???
here are some details:

so FUN & it gets you newly INSPIRED
i hope you ENJOY your WEEKEND!!!

Growing in Unity Wednesday

Welcome to Growing in Unity Wednesday.  This week we have the wonderful Sarah up sharing her Unity creations.

Meet Sarah:

Here is a little something about Sarah:

"Hello! My name is Sarah and I LOVE crafting. I dabbled with paper crafts a long time ago-- my sister actually used to rubber stamp when she was in Jr. High and High School and I made fun of her :) Then it wasn't until about 7 or 8 years ago I attended my first in home stamping party that I really loved what I saw, but never thought I could "do that." I would say the last 4 years have been when I have really bloomed in my crafting. It's my relaxation and my creative outlet! I love to make cards! I also will occasionally alter projects as well--it really depends on my mood. I've tried to scrap book but I just can't seem to fall in love with it like I do when making cards or altered projects. I am however, beginning to realize I need to alter more projects versus just buying the items to alter... just don't remind my husband about my composition notebooks please :) I also find that I love punny stamps--love em all! I simply can't say no to a good pun and thank goodness Unity keeps bringing on the awesome puns! In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends. I work full-time at a University and that keeps me super busy! So when I'm not working I love going to baseballs games (Go Twins) and I love going to college hockey games (Go Sioux) with my husband. I also enjoy sitting back and sipping on a delicious bubble tea with my bestie!"

Check out this lovely project Sarah created:

Be sure to swing on by Sarah's blog each day this week for more Unity inspiration and a chance to win 2 itty bitty's by leaving Sarah some love!

Till next week!

Design Team Tuesday!!!

Hello all!

It's Thienly here with my first DT Tuesday post!

I've been dying to make something Christmas related
 (needed a break from Halloween stuff!)
and thought that I'd play with one of my recent stamp set purchase, 25 days of Christmas
This set is so my style...
a little vintage, and has a good mix of sentiments, images, and of course, pennants!

I had some beautiful Christmas papers from Echo Park (Season's Greetings)
that I thought that it would go perfectly with these stamps,
and decided to create a bit of a collage kinda card!

I just love making these types of cards -
full of embellishments and detail!
 (It's a great way to show off my Unity stamps, too!)

With the pennants, I paper pierced each that was stamped onto various papers.
 They look so lovely!
Oh, and speaking of pennants...
have you seen the NEW Unity Challenge of the Month yet?
I'm hosting that one, and it's anything PENNANTS and BANNERS,
so yeah, come and link up all those beautiful Unity projects!
I would LOVE to see!

I love clustering embellishments together... adds so much interest to the card!

I am all for making handmade Christmas cards and have been doing them for the past 10 years.

"From home to home, and heart to heart, from one place to another
The warmth and joy of Christmas, brings us closer to each other."
-Emily Matthews

Hope that you loved my card,
I'll give you the links to the stamps I used in case you want to add them onto your wishlist!

The base of this card comes from this gorgeous Vintage Postcard stamp:

Now, onto something fun!
I LOVE looking around Pinterest, Facebook wall, Friends with Flair Fridays,
and all the Challenge entries to see what all of YOU are creating!
It inspires me greatly!

It was so hard to pick, but there's two that just caught my eye!

One is from the Challenge of the Month entry from Crystal Amaris Creations:

The layout is super fun -
I LOVE the colors, the way she used her stamps to make banners and pennants!
The preschooler is adorable,
and mom even picked the same colors to create her layout!
Well done!

The next one is very different from my style,
but this is just beautiful!
I found it from Friends with Flair Friday post!

This is from Color Outside the Lines, by Tara.
 I love the color combination here, a
nd how she used distress ink and wet towel to achieve this beautiful blend!
Just gorgeous!

That's it for me today!
We love it when you share with us any projects that you've made using Unity stamps -
so please keep on doing that :)

Have a beautiful day!
